Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first woman ever to win twice in CrossFit Games. She was second in both the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The first female to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. As a child, she was always a fan of sports and exercise. She took part in a variety of school activities and won a number of medals. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. Her height is around 5'7 and her weight approximately 70 kilograms. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California, in 2009. In the initial games she did very well and finished in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. The team did not achieve any success in the tournament, and ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. In her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal at CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae.
