Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for the past forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in several Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on August 28 in 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
