Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host for the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons to 2020. Ina started her career for the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. So she purchased the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. It took her nearly 18 years to turn the store into hugely successful, and then decided to sell the business. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. The other cookbooks came out, as did magazine columns. Between them she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina has never attended any cookery schools nor worked at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining cooking style. Her most popular recipes include the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
