Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the US. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artist family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international notoriety, as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box office actress across the globe. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
