Sharni Vison, an Australian-American actor and dancer was born on 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The casting agent wanted to cast her in one of the major characters. However, she did submit an try out for the role, but she wasn't selected. Instead, in the same show she was cast in the character of Cassie Turner, who is a troubled teenager who is placed in foster care. The role she played was greatly liked by fans as well as viewers who watched the series. Following that, she became an extremely successful actress on TV. Some of her credits include A Friend to Die For (released in 1994), A Carol Christmas (released in 2003) and The Last Sharknado 2018: It's about Time. In the following years, she began to appear in independent films like The House of Yes released in 1997. Scary movie 2 in 2001 Kiss the Bride (2007) and Izzie's Way Home (2016). In 2019, she reprised Donna Martin's role in Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off.
